I took a refreshing ride this afternoon after I finished work. I wasn't headed anywhere specific, but I found my way to
Green Brook and stopped by "Green Brook Cycle & Marine". It gave me a chance to thaw my body from the cold outside and see some bikes and gear. Before arriving at the motorcycle shop, I descended down this mountain with an amazing view! So after I was thoroughly warm, I left the shop and found my way back to snap a couple of pictures.
Sadly, the camera on my phone does not do it justice. After my quick photo stop I headed back the way I came, but took a different route once I hit Valley Road. This recent exploring has taught me a lot about this area of New Jersey and made me a much better navigator! The returning route led me through Watchung and past this picturesque pond with some.... well.... enormous houses!
